Explosion on board plane "not accidental"

Investigators analysing flight recording data have concluded that the explosion that took down the plane was "not accidental", according to CNN. There were no signs of mechanical failure or any other issues that could have resulted in an explosion.
Flight recorders point to bomb
In a day with numerous developments, the key finding from the intelligence side is that black box data appears to indicate that the plane was brought down by an explosive device onboard.
Analysis of "chatter" by UK intelligence had already led to the conclusion that it was "more likely than not" that a bomb brought down the plane, but that feeling has only been strengthened by data analysis.
The primary questions now are who smuggled the bomb on board, and how they did it.
