Russian forces - terrorists - attacked Ukrainians 33 times yesterday.
More and more attacks again. Was 8 or 9 last week. Then 20, and now 33.
Not sure if true. Talk that Rada may try to pass visa-free legislation again. Failed last time round. (anti-gay nutters; populists)

Putin has clearly given the go-ahead for the war to start again. It was relatively quiet. I would think he is seeing at what point the west will react again.

GENEVA — Members of Russia’s secret service intimidated workers at a drug-testing lab to cover up top athletes’ positive results. They impersonated lab engineers during the Winter Olympics in Sochi last year. A lab once destroyed more than 1,400 samples.
Athletes adopted false identities to avoid unexpected testing. Some paid to make doping violations disappear. Others bribed the antidoping authorities to ensure favorable results, and top sports officials routinely submitted bogus urine samples for athletes who were doping.

Personal opinion. Ukraine should be slight favorites against Slovenia.

Rules
As outlined above, the play-offs are played over two legs and there is the possibility that teams finish level after 180 minutes. The away goals rule will come into play at the end of the tie. Here’s Uefa’s ruling on it:
“The away goals rule counts at the end of the tie, with the team that scores more away goals qualifying for the finals. If that too is equal, then extra time is played. If, during extra time, both sides score the same number of goals, away goals count double (i.e. the visiting team qualifies). If no goals are scored during extra time then it goes down to penalties.”

Starting from 18:00 on November 9, the terrorists opened provocative fire on the positions of ATO forces 33 times, according to the Facebook report by the press center for the Anti-Terrorist Operation.

On Donetsk direction, militants shelled the village of Pisky 11 times, using grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms, seven similar attacks on Opytne, four attacks on Maryinka, three - on Avdiyivka and another three on Krasnohorivka were recorded. The Russian proxies fired small arms, and weapons of BMP-2 infantry combat vehicles in the direction of Nevelsk and Kamenka and also fired from anti-aircraft weapons in the direction of Verhniotoretske.

The terrorists also shelled Popasna and Bohuslavske on the Artemivsk direction from 120mm mortars, banned by the Minsk agreements................

On his flagship news show Vesti Nedeli on Russian state television, the bombastic pundit suggested on November 8 that it was suspicious that after two years of U.S. air strikes against Islamic State, no American passenger planes have been targeted. And yet a Russian civilian aircraft was downed after just 40 days into Russia’s military campaign in Syria.

Kiselyov went on to suggest that the United States and its allies cut a deal with Islamic State "not to touch the civilian aircraft of the Western Coalition." He added that "dividing terrorists into good ones and bad ones is standard practice for the West. If the terrorist is targeting Russia, he’s a good terrorist and even a supporter of democracy." ...

Rada live currently on Kanal 5.
A good friend, who survived the bullets from Putin and Yanukovich on Maidan just came round.
He changed channel, and started watching a fishing program! That just says it all for me regarding the current state of politics in Ukraine.
Rada currently discussing a bill about land - selling it. They always discuss this, every month of every year, it seems to me.
Apparently voted to extend the moratorium on selling agricultural land.

Reading also, on tv screen, that people are stood outside the Rada wanting a visa-free scheme.
But for the politicians this is not important. They have their diplomatic passports, so no problem for them to travel anywhere. ))

Parliament failed to pass a bill "On Amendments to the Tax Code of Ukraine on cheapening the cost of gas for the population."
For a decision voted 215 people's deputies at the minimum required 226.

Just watched Rada tv. The visa-free legislation did not pass.
Basically the Ukraine deputies can travel to Europe - no problem - with their diplomatic passports.
But they don't want the same for normal Ukrainians.
Apparently what bit did pass will go to the EC for discussion.. and probably will be returned in a year or six.
What did not pass - the anti-discrimination laws.
Now - if a very catholic country like Poland can pass them, surely Ukraine can? But no...
Ukraine still in the Soviet stone age when it comes to work law.

Talking to people, they are very angry about this.
But many Deputies, including some in Samopomich clearly, love the old Soviet Union laws, and what Ukrainians to continue to live in poverty for another decade or two.
Too many Deputies don't want change. They love their own exclusive position.
Ukrainians should not be allowed to travel abroad, in their opinion.

Every day through Union Station is about 70 thousand people. Recently there began to talk about the Holodomor.

If I understood correctly, Rada approved elections in Mariupol and Krasnoarmeisk on 29 November.
That's good, I think. Who people will vote for is another matter.

Only two factions of the Verkhovna Rada - Petro Poroshenko block and the "Popular Front" - an absolute majority of deputies voted for the anti-discrimination law, required for visa-free regime between Ukraine and the EU.
This is according to electronic voting, published on the website of BP.
However Opposition bloc Radical Party Oleg Lyashko and "Renaissance" demonstrated the worst supporting - 0, 1 and 2 votes respectively from the law of each.
Not much better results in the "Selfreliance" - the law voted 8 of 26 deputies (ie, less than a third).
Somewhat more independent MPs and representatives of the "Fatherland" supported anti-discrimination law - 13 from each of the factions.
As is known, the Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday again made the agenda of anti-discrimination bill №3442, but failed to vote on it.

Samopomich, based in Lviv have 26 deputies. 18 did not vote in favor. 18! Selfish scumballs.
Before this vote I heard that many deputies in Lviv are now in the pay of Putin. This confirms it.

The 20 camouflaged tanks near the Kalinin mine and 4 more near Marjynka revealed by Ukraine army intelligence clearly show that the enemy is preparing to attack, expert Kyrylo Sazonov writes in Facebook Nov. 10.

The concentration of tanks near the frontline has only one purpose – to attack, he says.

The expert says the following scenario is likely: the rebels fire on civilian houses in Donetsk or Horlivka, putting the blame on Ukraine army and stressing the need to defend civilians. That is when the tanks will come into action, the expert assumes.

However, the rebels do not have the potential for a massive attack against Ukraine. Therefore, they will blackmail Kyiv by launching a limited offensive, Sazonov says.

Meanwhile, the decisions on Donbas are taken in Moscow, and there is no knowing what may the Kremlin leader have in his head, the expert says.
