The United States will take action when confirming data on ballistic missile launch by Iran

US State Department spokesman John Kirby said at a briefing that the United States are studying evidence that Iran conducted a test launch of a ballistic missile in November, violating UN Security Council resolution, according to Reuters.
According to him, if these reports are true, the United States will take appropriate action.
"We are in a serious analysis of this information," - said Kirby. He added that he is not authorized at this time to confirm the veracity of the data.
In October 2015, Iranian Defense Minister Gen. Hossein dehgans announced the successful testing of a new ballistic long-range missiles. US then noted that the ballistic missile test Iran violates the UN resolution.
Resolution 1929 of the UN Security Council provides that Iran can not participate in any activities related to ballistic missiles.
