German police arrested 40 in Dusseldorf of migrants from North Africa

German police have arrested 40 people in Dusseldorf, mostly from North Africa, who are suspected of committing a series of crimes.
According to the publication The Wall Street Journal, the arrests were carried out in the investigation of a series of thefts and are not related to the recent attacks on women in the New Year's Eve, perfect in Cologne.
Police raids took place on Saturday night, Jan. 16. Approximately 300 law enforcement officers searched 18 premises in Dusseldorf, including casinos, bars and cafés are located right next to the train station.
In total, the police checked 294 persons, of whom 40 have been arrested. It turned out that most of the suspects are in Germany illegally.
