Germany is struggling with the influx of counterfeit euro

The number found by the German police and intelligence agencies of cases of forgery of money has increased by almost half. This writes Spiegel.
"In 2015, the Federal Office for Criminal Matters identified 112,000 counterfeit notes (total cost of 5.5 million euros.) - 48% more than the year before. Registered 86,500 crimes involving fakes - an increase of 42% ", - said the publication.
In contrast to the EU as a whole, where the most popular 20-evrovye forgery (69%), in Germany, most (almost half of the total) found 50 evrovye.
Almost 80% of all high-quality fakes come, according to the agency, southern Italian city of Napoli.
