NATO double the part of the rapid reaction force

The combined forces of the NATO Response Force will increase to 40 thousand. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, at a press conference on Monday.
"We will take a decision on a further increase in capacity of NATO Response Force. In general, they make up 30-40 thousand. Of military personnel, that is two times more than before, "- said the head of NATO's one of the issues tabled at the meeting of Defense Ministers of the Allies on June 24-25 in Brussels.
He pointed out that NATO is responsible for the new security situation jointly and decisively, and the creation of new combined advanced rapid reaction force is a clear signal that the Alliance has a presence and is ready to respond.
