German journalist Ali Aslan in an interview with "Commander in Chief" said that despite the clear position of German Chancellor Angela Merkel against Russian aggression, German politicians continue their cautious game with Russia.
"Chancellor Merkel has clearly pointed out that the blame for the failure to comply with the agreements Minsk lies on Putin. In addition, it continues to support the economic sanctions that isolated Russia. German politicians are playing a cautious game to leave the field for diplomatic maneuvering with Russia, not to harm any of the parties. Perhaps these measures are not enough, but this is the reality, and German politicians tend to continue diplomatic negotiations and gradually tightening sanctions as necessary, "- said Ali Aslan.
He noted that in Germany itself the influence of the pro-Russian propaganda media - no.
"Of course, we know that there are media such as, Russia Today, but almost no one uses their product, we do not track information that broadcast the Russian media. In my opinion, they have no effect on public opinion, "- he summed up the German journalist.
