NATO will not take part in a possible conflict between the United States and North Korea.
This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in an interview with German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, transfers DW.
He said NATO condemned the ongoing violations by North Korea of UN Security Council resolutions relating to nuclear and missile programs Pyongyang.
"Last week I spent 4 hours in the White House and I can assure you that there was no debate about the role of NATO in North Korea," - he said.
Secretary General accused the North Koreans of destabilizing the entire region.
Earlier it was reported that Japanese Prime Minister urged the US and China continue to pressure North Korea.
