Fire in high-rise could put out 200 firefighters within a few hours.
The death toll due to high-rise fire in London has risen to 17 people, reports Tsenzor.NET citing 112 Ukraine . This was stated by a representative of the Metropolitan Police Kandy Stewart, reports The Guardian. According to him, this number is likely to increase.
Commissioner of the London Fire Brigade Danny Cotton informed that rescuers want to make sure that the building is safe to begin search operations inside.
Recall that in London the night 14 June powerful fire engulfed a 27-storey residential building Grenfell Tower. From building practically nothing left rescuers still continue to fight the fire. In Grenfell Tower were 120 apartments. The fire covered almost the entire building from the 2nd to the 24th floor (after reconstruction in 2016 the house became a 24-storey). More than 70 residents hospitalized.
