OurMine hacking group broke accounts of the American HBO channel on Twitter and Facebook.
This was reported by Variety.
Andrew Wallenstein, Editor-in-Chief, Variety, has posted a screenshot of hacking messages.
"Hi, OurMine here, we just test your protection, the HBO team, please contact us to update the security system," - says in a message posted by hackers in the Twitter channel account.
Soon the TV channel got access to its Twitter account and removed the message from hackers.
Recall that the sixth series of "Game of Thrones" was "poured" into the Internet due to the error of the HBO channel.
Earlier, it was reported that hackers stole HBO 1.5 terabytes of data, including scenarios for several episodes of the game "The Game of the Thrones," and subsequently made public the demands for channel management to pay $ 6 million to Bitcoin to prevent the spread of stolen information. Hackers gave the HBO three days to meet the requirements.
Later, The Guardian reported that HBO had offered $ 250,000 hackers to Bitcoin for stolen scripts.
