Ford will pay over $ 10 million because of discrimination and racism in factories

Ford's auto repair company, Ford, will reward victims of sexual harassment and racial discrimination of more than $ 10 million.

According to a report published by the American agency EEOC, advocating for the protection of equal rights, the total amount of payments will be more than 10.1 million dollars, reports Deutsche Welle.

According to the EEOC, two Ford's Chicago factories reported cases of sexual harassment against women, as well as discrimination against African-Americans.

To avoid further problems, Ford has agreed to voluntary repayment.

As part of the compromise between the authorities and the company, it was also decided that in the following years, Ford's factories will hold special trainings to avoid such situations in the future.
