British police are investigating the London subway blast as a terrorist attack

Police called an explosion in London underground car bombing.

This is stated in the report of the department. On-site law enforcement and emergency services continue to operate, the Parsons Green station was closed. Police urged citizens to remain calm.

British Prime Minister Teresa May also called the event "a terrorist act."

"My support for those who got injured on Parsons Green and emergency rescue services who have responded courageously to reports of a terrorist act," she wrote.

On September 15, at 8:20 local time (10:20 pm in Kyiv) , an explosion occurred at the Parsons Green station at the London Metro . According to preliminary data, 20 people were injured, no dead.
