The 74-year-old American conductor was accused of having raped a teenager for eight consecutive years

The New York Metropolitan Opera states that she has been conducting an official investigation into alleged juvenile delinquency by their conductor James Levin

Levin, now 74, has been musical director of this institution for 40 years before being released on health in 2016, reports BBC.

The claims to the artist are based on a police report for the past year, 2016, in which one man accused Levin of sexual harassment in the 1980s, when the applicant was still a teenager.

As noted, Matt was acquainted with this police report last year, but categorically rejects the statement outlined therein. However, Levin's public comment was not yet available.

The Illinois police report says that the alleged victim claims that sexual violence began in 1985, when he was 15 years old, while Levin was 41 years old and lasted until 1993, that is, a total of 8 years.

-During his career, Levin has spent more than 2,500 performances in public. He debuted in June 1971 with "Tosco" Puccini, becoming the lead conductor in the 1973-1974 season and musical leader in 1976-1977.

-He performed 85 different operas, and also worked with three tenors - Luciano Pavarotti, José Carreras and Placido Domingo.

-Now the conductor is hugged to a motorized wheelchair and suffers from Parkinson's disease.
