In light of the joint maneuvers of the United States and the Republic of Korea, North Korea reminded Washington that such steps on its part could lead to a nuclear war.
On this Sunday, December 3, reported the newspaper of the Central Committee of the Labor Party of Korea "Rodong Sinmun".
It is noted that Pyongyang perceives the five-day air training Vigilant Ace in the Pacific region as "an explicit and comprehensive provocation against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea."
"This is an open total provocation against the DPRK, which can at any time lead to a nuclear war," the newspaper wrote.
Responsibility for the possible escalation of the DPRK's conflict lies with the United States, which calls it the "hotbed of war".

As stated by the Ministry of Defense of South Korea, the purpose of the exercises is to work out common actions of the Allies in the event of war, reports Associated Press.
The training started one week after the launch of the intercontinental ballistic missile in the DPRK on November 28.
The Ministry of Defense of Japan said that the DPRK rocket could fall into the Japanese economic zone .
The United States convened an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council due to the launch of the DPRK ballistic missile.
December 2 in Hawaii began to test sirens in the event of a possible attack on the DPRK .
On September 12, the UN Security Council unanimously approved the United States resolution on the imposition of new sanctions against North Korea . These sanctions became a response in the aftermath of the DPRK's sixth, "largest" nuclear test. After that, the DPRK made several launches of missiles.
