Tesla claims that solar tile costs 10-15% less than a regular roof with solar panels - about $21.85 per square foot instead of $24.50.

Tiles look like ordinary tiles. In fact, not every built-in tile produces electricity, although it's almost impossible to distinguish it from the "eye".

You can adjust the percentage of roof tiles to be active in a special online tool when ordering - up to a maximum of 70%. Obviously, the more solar panels are installed, the more expensive the roof comes out.
