The CIA declares the possibility of a nuclear strike in North Korea in the next few months

The head of the Central Intelligence Agency, Michael Pompeo, said he was likely to carry out a nuclear strike in the DPRK in the next few months.

He said this in an interview with SBS.

"Of course, I would be happy to say that a year later... The United States Government is making every effort to bring this moment as soon as possible," Pompeo said.

"We can always determine that a nuclear program is being developed, but we will never know the exact nature of what is happening. The main risk that politicians need to understand was that the North Korea's nuclear weapons program continues to expand, develop, become more powerful, more capable and reliable, "said the head of the CIA.

In early January, Donald Trump said he was ready to talk to a North Korean leader, Kim Jong Yin.

Prior to this, it was reported that North Korea was working to improve the intercontinental ballistic missile "Hwason-14" so that it could reach the United States.
