The White House is concerned about the probability of the resignation of the director of the FBI, Christopher Rey, if a document showing an abuse of the agency under the supervision of Trump adviser during the 2016 elections is posted.
This was reported by CNN, citing a source.
It is noted that Rey did not talk about resignation during a recent meeting with the head of the White House, John Kelly, but Kelly himself considers this opportunity to be real.
Officials in the White House are looking for a compromise that would satisfy both the intelligence services that oppose the publication of the document and US President Donald Trump, who is planning to release the document.
Recall that the deputy director of the FBI Andrew McCabe, whom the US president Donald Trump had previously accused of political bias, resigned.
