DPRK suspected of purchasing goods for a nuclear program in the EU

German special services believe that the DPRK is using its embassy in Berlin for the purchase of goods for the creation of missiles and nuclear weapons.
This was stated by head of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution Hans-Georg Masen in an interview with the NDR channel, according to Russian version of DW.
"We are compelled to state that activity there, in our opinion, is related to missile and partly to nuclear programs," Masen said.
He noted that it is often a matter of dual-use goods that can be used for both civilian and military purposes. The German intelligence services warn against such agreements.
"But we can not guarantee that all such cases can be detected and warned," Hans-Georg Masen pointed out.
He admitted that North Korea acquires the elements necessary for its missile program in other states or in the black market.
According to NDR journalists, the Federal Office for the Protection of Constitutions received information on purchases for the DPRK missile program in 2016 and 2017.
