Joe Biden said he does not exclude the possibility of participating in the presidential election
Former US Vice President Joe Biden does not rule out the possibility of nominating his candidacy for the US presidential election in 2020.
This tells Assosiated Press.
Biden held a meeting with his new diplomatic center, which told his participants that he considered them as potential future members of his team in the event that he would run for president.
Meanwhile, Biden stressed that he had not yet decided, but did not exclude the possibility of nominating his presidential candidate in 2020. If he still will participate in the elections, then at the time of the inauguration he will be 78 years old.
The meeting said Biden would have to run for office unless a strong Democrat candidate appears, and the meeting itself is a vivid manifestation of Biden's positioning as an alternative to Donald Trump.
Participants noted that Biden began to publicly criticize Trump's policy more actively.
Recalls that the daughter of the former Attorney General Viktor Shokin - Alina - who is a US citizen, intends to sue ex-Vice President Joe Biden.
