China said that new US sanctions against the DPRK would harm its interests

The diplomat stressed that restrictive measures against individuals and legal entities from China, Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong were "false actions" that could harm bilateral cooperation, and therefore they should be "stopped immediately".
The Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said that Beijing had always fully complied with all UN Security Council resolutions on the DPRK and would not allow any violation of these decisions by Chinese citizens or companies.
Recall, on the eve of the US Minfin unveiled new restrictive measures against the DPRK .
The sanctions imposed, in the first place, concern the shipping and trading companies of the DPR under the flags of northern Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Marshall Islands, Tanzania, Panama and the Comoros or located in these territories.
The purpose of the extended sanctions - to prevent circumvention of Pyongyang UN sanctions against him, said in Washington.
Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said that if the sanctions imposed against the DPRK were to be ineffective, America is ready to resort to the "second phase" of the confrontation. This phase may turn out to be "very fast" and "very malicious for the world," warned Trump.
