This was reported by Reuters.
The maker of smartphones accuses defendants of violating intellectual property rights, including copying the BlackBerry Messenger.
The company also believes that WhatsApp and Instagram have been using proprietary security related issues, as well as the user interface and battery life of the mobile device while upgrading.
Representatives of the Facebook allegations reject. The corporation was promised toughly respond to claims by a Canadian company.
"Leaving their efforts to innovate, Blackberry is now trying to charge money for the innovations of others. This reflects a sad situation that is currently happening on the smartphone market, "said a representative of Facebook.
Recall that in 2017, smartphone sales in the world declined for the first time in history.
