The founder and general manager of the social network Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, will testify to the data leak and a scandal with Cambridge Analytica before the Energy and Trade Committee of the House of Representatives of the US Congress.

The committee expects that the hearing "will help clarify important issues of confidentiality of data and help to understand what happens to personal information on the Internet."
Earlier, US deputies formally asked Zuckerberg to explain at a hearing in Congress, as the data of 50 million users were in the hands of Cambridge Analytica political consultations.
