Vice-President of the European Parliament: the Greeks want to stay in the euro zone

One of the leaders of SYRIZA and the Vice-President of the European Parliament Dimitrios Papadimoulis said that the Greeks want to stay in the eurozone, reports the Greek agency ANA-MPA.
"The Greeks want to stay in the euro zone as an equal partner", - he said.
"From tomorrow morning we should start negotiations with the international lenders on new terms ... The talks should begin as soon as possible in order to reach a mutually beneficial agreement for Greece and for the euro area" - said the MEP.
According to him, it should be taken into account not only the opinion of those who voted in the referendum, and the entire Greek people.
Earlier it was reported the results of counting 40% of the ballots of the Greek referendum.
