US President Donald Trump said during a conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron that the United States is negotiating an agreement with Iran on a nuclear program.
According to Tsensor.NET, The New York Times writes about it, citing its source.
"Trump told the president of France Emmanuel Macron, who is planning to announce the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal with Iran," the source said.
He also added that "the United States is preparing to reinstate all sanctions against Iran and impose additional economic fines."
It is expected that by May 12, US President Donald Trump will have to announce whether he intends to continue to abide by the arrangements for the Iranian atom. He has repeatedly criticized the deal, noting that the document does not cover a number of important issues, including the issue of Iran's development of ballistic missiles. In turn, a number of US European allies propose maintaining an agreement on the atom, but in parallel work on another treaty that deals with other controversial issues between the West and Tehran.
