This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to "Radio Liberty".
Many of those who could not attend the concert sent videotapes of their appeals to defend Sentsov, or the words of support addressed to the Ukrainian director. Among them are directors Askold Kurov, Andriy Plakhov, Vitaliy Mansky, Anton Dolin; musicians and performers Andriy Khlyvniuk, Alexei Paperny; party member of the Pussy Riot Maria Alekhina.
Excerpts from his works were read by journalist Victoria Ivleva and poet Lev Rubinshtein. The actors of the "Theater. Doc" performed songs, read excerpts from a play by playwright Olena Gremin, from the stories of Oleg Sentsov.
Everyone who spoke or spoke about the need to support Oleg Sentsov himself and his demands - the release of Ukrainian political prisoners in Russia in every possible way.
"The film and theater community, journalists from Russia, Ukraine, and many European countries have repeatedly addressed the demands of Oleg and the request to the authorities of Russia to stop his persecution," the statement reads.
Let's remind, on May, 16th, 2018 the lawyer Sentsova has informed that his client on May, 14th has declared an indefinite fasting. Thus, Sentsov demands the release of all Ukrainian political prisoners who are in Russian prisons.
The detainee, along with Oleh Sentsov, Alexander Kolchenko, on May 31 declared a hunger strike demanding that Sentsova be released.
Another Crimean veteran, Vladimir Baluch, is starving since March 19.
To Sentsov was also joined by former guard Dmitry Yarosh in Russia Alexander Shumkov.
The #SaveOlegSentsov Global Action in Support of Ukrainian Prisoners of the Kremlin took place on June 1-2 in more than 20 countries of the world. In particular, in Kiev, the action began with a flashmob - activists in "prison robots" with chains silently walked along Maidan, showing the suffering of Ukrainian political prisoners.

NATO is worried about the possible arrangements by Trump and Putin to bypass the Alliance
The North Atlantic Alliance fears that US President Donald Trump may come with President Vladimir Putin to a number of arrangements to circumvent NATO's interests.
According to Censor.NET, referring to "112 Ukraine", the co-ordinator of the ruling coalition of the Federal Republic of Germany for transatlantic cooperation Peter Bayer said in an interview for the Funke Mediengruppe newspaper.
According to Bayer, among the members of the Alliance there is growing concern about possible cooperation between the United States and Russia.
"We in the Alliance feel growing concern about the agreements that can be reached at the meeting with Trump and Putin," he said.
He noted that other NATO members were not involved in the planning of the summit of the two presidents and the development of issues that would be raised during the talks on July 16 in Helsinki. He also said that a similar situation was formed around the meeting between Trump and DPRK leader Kim Jong Yin in Singapore.
"Kim only gave out promises. We do not know if he really stopped the uranium enrichment process, but Trump only said the summit was a success," Bayer said.
As reported, Trump and Putin will meet in Helsinki (Finland) on July 16.

In Brussels, a protest rally against Tramp's participation in the NATO summit
Activists held a protest rally in Brussels against US President Donald Trump's participation in the North Atlantic Alliance summit in the capital of Belgium on July 11-12.
This was reported by The Associated Press.
It is noted that the protesters staged a march entitled "Trump is not happy".
Participants in the action demand a reduction in military spending, while Trump advocates an increase in defense spending by European countries.
In addition, activists who demand increased funding for schools and renewable energy, the closure of coal and nuclear power plants, as well as the termination of the "hard economy" strategy, which they consider to be harmful to the poorest sections of the population, have joined the march.
Recall Tramp demands from allies of NATO to increase defense spending to 2% of GDP, as stipulated by the Alliance's rules.
On July 3, the US president sent sharp letters to leaders of some NATO countries due to low defense spending.
Earlier, it was reported that the United States plans to spend $ 45 billion in military operations in Afghanistan in 2018.

People are tired of Putin: they made a loud statement in Russia
Residents of Russia are beginning to get tired of the power of Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
This was told by political scientist Lilia Shevtsova, reports "Echo of Moscow".
It is noted that most of Putin's close friends are young - they are 65-69 years old, and they are able to work for years to come, however, they must ensure that after their departure there will be no surprises. Putin himself can act as such a guarantor, but there are no guarantees that he will be able to stay in office for the next 8-10 years.
"There is no guarantee, especially since the people are beginning to get tired of being popularly elected," says observers, instead of Putin, Putin will come. "In short, nothing will change.
According to her, the leadership of the Kremlin on coming to power did not ensure the reproduction of the power and wealth of the old clans, and has every reason to worry about the future - in the system they built, there can be no heir institution that would guarantee them the transition of "state ownership".
So, Putin created his own ruling "vertical", wearing a collar on the elite and using spot bullying.
"Today the situation has changed. The impoverishment of the budget squad and the nausea that the Kremlin residents are beginning to cause for the population will force the successor to do what all the Soviet leaders have done to him," said the political scientist.
Shevtsova believes that Putin will seek the legitimization of power by resetting the perpetrators and his close associates.
"So did the Soviet leaders, cutting off the personnel echelons left by their predecessors, such as Khrushchev, Brezhnev, Andropov, Gorbachev, and the logic of power-what you will do." This logic makes it doubtful about the strength of the system of the repressive oligarchy, which today the Russian state has made its fiefdom. Irony: the re-establishment of autocracy led by a new leader is still possible, but because of the destruction of the current regime with all its supports, "- she concluded.

Tymoshenko was accused of using Kremlin propaganda and advised her to go to the front
The spread of the allegations against President Petro Poroshenko in the alleged desire to unleash a "big war " by Yulia Tymoshenko, the leader of Batkivshchyna, is an unscrupulous application of the Kremlin's propaganda dummies. This is stated in the statement of the faction of the party "Bloc Petro Poroshenko".
"This is a real blasphemy and disregard for the memory of more than 10 thousand who died in the Russian-Ukrainian war in the Donbass. After all, although Tymoshenko does not notice, or does not recognize this fact, a big war is already on and our defenders are killed almost every day, "the statement said.
In the BCP, Tymoshenko was reminded that this Russia attacked Ukraine, and this Russia unleashed this war.
"And even Tymoshenko should not forget that this is the president of Ukraine organized a fight against the aggressor and the restoration of the Ukrainian army. This P.Poroshenko led the diplomatic front, where Russia is experiencing sensitive losses because of economic sanctions. This head of state has already achieved the release of several thousand hostages and demands the release of every Ukrainian who is in captivity in Russia or in the occupied territories, "it was reported.
The faction of the party "Bloc Petro Poroshenko" demands an apology from Tymoshenko to the families of thousands of dead Ukrainians in that great war that she did not see. "Before making such statements, we advise Tymoshenko at least once to go to the front, or release at least one hostage," - added to the BCP.
Earlier, Tymoshenko said that Poroshenko plans to introduce martial law in Ukraine and launch large-scale military operations in order not to hold planned presidential elections in March 2019.
