Belgium defeated England on the World Cup and became the bronze medalist of the tournament

The Belgian national team defeated the England national team in the third-place match with a 2-0 scoreboard.

The match was held in St. Petersburg, on the city's stadium.

The Belgian team opened the scene at the 4th minute, with Thomas Manier. In the first half, none of the teams no longer scored.

At the end of the second half, Belgium scored the second time 10 minutes before the final whistle: Eden Azar scored after the pass of the partner.

Note that for the Belgian national team, the third place in the World Cup is the highest achievement at the mundial.

Let's remind, on July, 11th the national team of Croatia won England and has come to the finals of the World football championship. In the final match on July 15, Croats will play with the French national team.

The first finalist of the mundial  was the French national team , which won the Belgian semifinals.

Also, let's remind you that in the quarterfinals World Cup 2018  Russia lost to Croatia.

On July 1, the  Russian team knocked out  the Spanish national team with the 2018 World Cup, and Croatia defeated Denmark. Thus, Russia and Hovarta went to the quarterfinals of the Championship.

A day before the tournament left the  national teams of Portugal and Argentina . Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi flew out of the World Championship in one day.

Brazil defeated Mexico on 2 July   and made its way to the 2018 World Cup quarter-final.

Ukrainian national team at the FIFA World Cup is not represented. It should be noted that Ukraine has urged not to conduct the World Cup in Russia, as this country holds political prisoners and wages war.

In Russia and in the annexed Crimea, there are 64 Ukrainian political prisoners, 27 of which are in Russia.

58 - detained in the Crimea or in cases related to the Crimea. These figures do not take into account the prisoners held in the territory of self-appointed republics.

The final stage of the World Cup in Russia began on June 14 and will end on July 15th.
