The European Parliament freezes the donation of Marin Le Pen "National Association"

Recall that an investigation by the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) in 2016 showed that Le Pen had "unjustifiably paid" € 298,497 for parliamentary assistance from December 2010 to February 2016.
In particular, the assistants of the Euro-deputies, whose pay was financed from the EU budget, actually worked at the party headquarters, performing a completely different job. In such "joint" recognized 23 out of 54 assistants.
This is not the only problem by Marin Le Pen. On July 8, the Paris court decided to freeze the payment of € 2 million from the state subsidy fund that the "National Association" had to receive in accordance with the French law on the financing of political organizations.
Marin Le Pen criticized this decision, calling it "an attempt to kill the main opposition party of France" and "an unprecedented disregard for democracy." According to her, due to the retention of grants, "National Association" may cease to exist in late August.
