Moscow will give an adequate response if the United States introduces new sanctions

This was announced on Thursday by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova, informs "Interfax".

"If we say hypothetically about imposing sanctions on new, yet one, updated, corrected and so on, as you know, unfortunately, we give an adequate answer to them," Zakharova told reporters at a briefing.

She noted that the Foreign Ministry "does not comment on the working processes of making these decisions."

"But these answers should always be adequate, and always emphasize that this is not our choice, not those decisions that Russia takes initially, but only in response," the diplomat said.
