The EU is ready to make concessions and cancel all customs duties on American goods

European Commissioner for Trade, Celia Malmström, said that under the new trade agreements with the US, the European Union is ready to cancel all customs duties and restrictions on the import of American industrial goods (both new and existing), if the US does the same.
Malmström reported this during a speech at the European Parliament's Trade Committee on August 30, reports Interfax.
"We said that they are ready to shift to zero duties on industrial goods, of course, if the US does the same," said the European Commissioner.
On the eve of the readiness to conclude a trade agreement with the United States and the Prime Minister of Canada. According to him, it can be signed by August 31st.
In the course of trade negotiations, EU officials called on Trump to stop threatening the introduction of 25% duty on European cars.
