The United States has made four individuals and five organizations in Syria's sanctions lists, among other things, for the involvement in supplying oil and weapons to the Syrian government.
As informs Censor.NET with reference to the" Correspondent", this is stated in the widespread statement of September 6, the US Ministry of Finance.
It is noted that the list included two companies from Lebanon, two from Syria, one from the UAE, and three Syrians and one Lebanese.
In substantiating new sanctions, the US Department of the Treasury said that Syrian authorities are trading oil products with a terrorist group of IDs.
According to Washington, Mohammed al-Katidhi, who is on the list of sanctions, and his Qatirji Company, maintain strong ties with the Syrian regime and promote fuel trade between the Syrian authorities and the ID.
Recall that in May the EU continued its actions against the Syrian regime by July 1, 2019, due to civilian repression that continues to this day.
