The head of British unions is proposing a four-day working week
Head of the Federation of Trade Unions of Britain Francis O'Gray offers to introduce a four-day working week.
This is reported by The Independent.
Francis O'Grady calls for the use of "force" technology to reduce the number of working days for the British.
"In the 19th century, trade unions fought for an eight-hour working day. In the 20th century we received the right to two leave and paid leave. Let's raise our ambitions for the 21st century. I believe we can get a four-week working week with decent pay for everyone, "said O'Grady.
Proposals for reducing working hours, the chairman of the federation of trade unions should announce at the 150th annual congress of trade unions in Manchester on September 10.
O'Gray also plans to mention Amazon, whose employees worked 55 hours a week on Christmas Eve, according to a Sunday Mirror investigation.
Earlier, researchers from the University of West Anglia said that correspondence in matters on the way to the office should be considered part of the working day .
In 2017, Google became the best comparably comparable company.
