Not far from the Muslim mosque in the northwest of London, the car drove into the crowd: at least three people were hurt.
This is reported by The Telegraph.
According to the police, there were three guys in the car and a girl aged just over 20 years old. Young people shouted anti-Islamic slogans.
It is noted that before the car drove into the crowd, they had a conflict with visitors to the Islamic prayer center.
The Husseini Association, which organized a lecture in a mosque, called the incident "suspected of a deliberate Islamophobic attack," adding that the driver and passengers "shouted Islamic madness in the crowd."
Metropolitan police said the driver did not stop. Officers do not regard it as related to terrorism, but "the aspect of hate crime is considered by the detectives as an aggravating factor."
Police filed a case on hate crimes, but did not consider the incident as a terrorist attack.
The victims were taken to medical institutions.
