"It's impossible, it's not right to kill a person, regardless of its size, to solve the problem. It's like to hire a killer to solve the problem, "the pontiff said during his weekly performance on St. Peter's Square.

Dad emphasized that "suppression of human life in the womb for the sake of protecting other rights" contradicts morality.

"How can one call a therapeutic, civilized or at least human act of suppressing innocent and defenseless life that has just begun to emerge?" - said the pontiff.

According to the publication, the statement of Pope Francis is one of the hardest he has done in recent times, and was positively perceived by the conservative Catholic who criticized Francis for not paying enough attention to this problem.

Francis himself, as soon as he became the pope, declared that he was not going to pay much attention to the problems of the "cultural war", the position of the church about which has long been known and unchanged. Among these problems are abortions, contraceptives and same-sex marriages.

The Roman Catholic Church believes that life is born directly at the time of conception, and therefore abortion from a religious point of view is murder.
