Irish singer Sinead O'Connor became a Muslim, and through that changed his name
The singer reported this on Twitter.
Now Shineyd is called Shuhad Davitt.
"I proudly announce that I have become a Muslim, this is the natural result of any conscious theological search." All sacred writings lead to Islam, and other sacred writings are not needed, "the singer wrote.
O'Connor also showed the picture on which she was in the hijab and read a call to prayer.
