A new referendum on Brexit will cause "irreparable damage" to the British government's policy.
It informs Cenzor.NET referring to Ukrinform, the Prime Minister of Great Britain Theresa May, informs Reuters.
According to May, the referendum "challenges the government's ability to act democratically."
The British prime minister also expressed the conviction that the referendum could lead to a division of the country.
As reported, Prime Minister of Great Britain Theresa May after the vote of no confidence in parliament the government announced that it intends to continue its work on the withdrawal from the European Union (Brexit).
Recall also, on December 10, the court of the European Union confirmed that the United Kingdom can cancel Brexit unilaterally. But the British government said they did not intend to do so.
