Iraqi Prime Minister did not meet Trump because of "some differences"

US President Donald Trump, along with first lady, made an unannounced visit to the US military base in Iraq, his meeting with Iraqi Prime Minister Adele Abdul-Mahdi was thwarted
Iraqi political leaders believe that Trump's unexpected visit to US troops - a violation of the diplomatic norms and sovereignty of the country, informs Liga.net.
An urgent meeting was convened in the Iraqi parliament to discuss "the flagrant violation of sovereignty and the cessation of these aggressive actions by Trump, who should know the limits: the American occupation of Iraq is over."
In the office of Abdul-Mahdi, they explained that they really learned in advance about President Trump's visit and talked about how to hold a meeting on the phone, but there were some discrepancies. Trump proposed to meet at the military base, but Abdul Mahdi rejected such a proposal.
