The current US president, Donald Trump, has tried to justify his work schedule, which leaked in the media in the beginning of the month, stressing that he actually worked more hours a day than almost all previous presidents.
As informs Censor.NET with reference to Ukrinform , he stated this on Sunday in one of the tweeter messages.
"Media was able to get my work schedule, which was very easy to do, but it had to be presented in a positive light, not in a negative way.
There, where (in the graph. - Ed.) Executive Time was specified, I usually work rather than relax. In fact, I probably work more hours than almost any previous president, "Trump said.
As a proof of his performance, the head of the White House wrote that when he became president, he received the country "in turmoil", with "exhausted army and endless wars." Therefore, according to Trump, he "had no choice but to work for long hours."
Recall that on February 3, the American popular edition of Axios issued a document that describes the personal schedule of the president's work over the past three months.
As it turned out, with over 500 hours of work, Donald Trump spent 297 hours on the so-called Executive Time, which could mean anything from work with documents to personal holidays. According to sources, the president, for the most part, used this time to watch television, chat with friends, and write tweet messages.
And only slightly less than 80 hours in three months were listed in the president's schedule as business meetings, about 50 hours - relocation, 39 hours - for meals and about 40 hours for other activities.
