The Russian military arranged for the American destroyer in the Black Sea. The Donald Cook trial is tracked by a small Orekhovo-Zuevo rocket and a John Khurs reconnaissance ship.

The United States has called on Russia to stop the traffic of vessels in the Kerch Strait going to Ukrainian ports and to immediately release captured Ukrainian ships and their crew members.

This is stated in the statement of the US embassy, ​​reports Censor.NET.

"The United States calls on Russia to respect international commitments and to stop delaying, prosecuting and impeding the movement of vessels passing through the Kerch Strait and going to the ports of Ukraine, as well as to immediately release captured Ukrainian ships and their crew members," the statement said.

Recall that on November 25, the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Russian Federation's border ships committed aggressive actions against Ukrainian ships that were carrying out a planned transition from the port of Odessa to the port of Mariupol of the Azov Sea. In particular, the Russian border ship "Don" carried a ram of the Ukrainian raiding tug, which damaged the main engine of the ship, lining and liner fencing, and also lost the life raft. The Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine emphasizes that the intention to implement the transition was warned in advance and acted within the framework of international law.

As a result of illegal actions of Russian security forces, three ships of the Ukrainian Navy were captured and 24 Ukrainian servicemen captured. The Russian-controlled Russian court of the occupied Simferopol has chosen a precautionary measure for 24 sailors in custody until January 25, 2019.

On November 30, seamen were transported to Moscow: 21 Ukrainians were taken to the Moscow Siege "Lefortovo", and three wounded - in "Sailor's Ticks".

On January 15 and 16, the Lefortovo Court of the Russian Federation decided to extend the term of seizure of 24 captured Ukrainian sailors for three months . Consequently, they will remain under arrest at least until the end of April.

Russian President Vladimir Putin told about the response to US missile launches in Europe.

As informs Censor.NET with reference to Gazeta.ru, he informed about this during the annual message to the Federal Assembly.

According to him, the measures will be "mirror" and "asymmetric".

Putin said that the Russian Federation would create and deploy weapons that can be used not only in the territory from which the threat comes, but also where the centers of decision-making on the use of rocket systems that will threaten the country will be located.

"We implement (these measures - Ed.) Immediately," Putin emphasized.

He also advised US partners to "reject illusions."

Ukraine expects the UN Secretary-General to use its right to send to the Donbas technical UN mission to assess the parameters of a possible peacekeeping mission.

As informs Censor.NET with reference to "Ukrinform", this was stated by the Permanent Representative of Ukraine to the UN Volodymyr Yelchenko.

According to him, the preliminary conclusions of the organization's specialists could be shifted from the dead point of discussion of this issue in the Council.

"There is Article 99 of the UN Charter that allows the Secretary-General to personally take certain measures. To send a certain group, appoint a special representative who will go to Ukraine. deploying a peacekeeping mission, "he said.

Yelchenko explained that such a mission could analyze at least the technical or military aspect of the mission, the required number of "blue helmets". He noted that "hundreds of politicians" have different numbers in the media, from ten to fifty thousand people, while there are experts in the UN secretariat who could make a thorough analysis.

"If such a group arrived in the Donbas, looked and at least wrote some preliminary conclusions, it could push the UN Security Council to start discussing this issue," the diplomat said.

Yelchenko added that the Ukrainian delegation wants greater engagement with the UN Secretary General in relation to Ukraine, in particular, in the issue of the release of hostages. He believes that a collective appeal with nearly 25 thousand signatures, which the President of Ukraine will hand over to the Secretary-General during his personal meeting on February 20 at the UN, will promote more active action on his part.

At the same time, there are no signs of the UN Secretary-General's readiness to send such a technical mission.

Recall that in October 2018, MinTOT developed an approximate model of a peacekeeping mission in the Donbas.

On September 26, Poroshenko called on the United Nations to launch a peacekeeping mission to the Donbas in the framework of one of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly.

On September 29, 2018, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine, Germany, France and the United States are practically ready to submit to the UN Security Council a draft resolution on the introduction of UN peacekeepers in the Donbas.

Special Representative of the US State Department for Ukraine Kurt Volcker said that Sweden, Finland, Austria, Belarus, Serbia and Turkey have already announced their readiness to participate in the UN peacekeeping mission in the Donbas. The idea of ​​the introduction of peacekeepers was supported by the President of Poland Andrzej Dud. Poroshenko said that more than 40 countries are ready to participate in the peacekeeping mission on the Donbas.

February 20 at 15:00 in the Hall of the KCSA Column The National Museum of the Revolution of Attractiveness presents a publishing and video project about the Heroes of Heavenly Hundreds and the participants of the revolution of 2013-2014.

This is about the first volume of the treasury of "Heavenly Hundred: Life" by Svetlana Teryekovskaya and the video project "Characters of Dignity" by Darya Kulchytska.

The edition of "Heavenly Hundred: Life" is a documentary-journalistic martyrologist of the Heroes of Heavenly Hundreds. It was created by Svetlana Tereykovska , a teacher, a volunteer, a participant in the Revolution of Belief.

In the first volume - essays-biographies of thirty-five bright fates of activists of EuroMayndan, who have a long life for the sake of the victory of democracy.

The reader will find little-known biographical facts, memoirs and testimonies, relatives, relatives, fellow countrymen.

Video project "Characters Dignity" was created by director Daryna Kulchytska . This is a series of clips about the heroes of the Maidan in life. These are short stories about their childhood, deeds, relationships with relatives, dreams and aspirations. The statements told by the closest relatives are meant to remind us of the price of freedom and the responsibility for its preservation.

The music was written by Roman Kolyada, pianist-improviser, composer, journalist.

The presentation will be attended by:

4) "Candle of memory" in honor of Heroes of Heavenly Hundreds.
