The official representative of the US Department of State Heather Nauert left her post

Noorte, whom Trump wanted to see as United States Permanent Representative to the United Nations, will now work in the Fullbright Educational Grants program.

Official deputy of the US Department of State Heather Nauert left her post, Cenzor.NET reported with reference to DW.

Secretary of State of the United States Michael Pompeo in his micro-blogging Twitter thanked her for his service and highlighted "two years of unmatched dignity."

Nauert became a full-time educational grant program, founded by American senator James William Fulbright in 1946. Pompeo stressed that she would "perfectly represent the United States" in the program.

Heather Nauert was the official representative of the United States Department of State from April 2017. Prior to his appointment, she was the leading news officer for the Fox News channel. In December 2017, US President Donald Trump nominated Nauert as United States Permanent Representative to the United Nations, but she abandoned the post.
