Thuringian regional television Salve.TV was in Germany under fire for demonstration programs of the Russian channel RT Deutsch. On this May 31 reported the website of TV channel MDR Thüringen.
The publication refers to the statements of representatives of the various factions in the Landtag of Thuringia. Landtag deputy from the Social Democratic Party of Germany Werner Pidde (Werner Pidde), in particular, expressed the view that the information flow is one-sided RT Deutsch and directly linked to the "Russian view" that "does not contribute to the formation of an objective picture." MP from the Left Party Blehshmidt André (André Blechschmidt), in particular, pointed out that "the Russian channel is too close to the government."
MP from the "green" Henfling Madeleine (Madeleine Henfling) criticized primarily the fact that the programs are not supplied with RT comments translated "without a critical journalistic feeding."
Co-owner Salve.TV Klaus-Dieter Boehm (Klaus-Dieter Böhm), in turn, rose to defend the policy of regional channel, saying that viewers have a choice and have the right to "voluntarily" to make a decision whether to watch a TV program proposed RT Deutsch or not.
Head of the State Office of Media Affairs told MDR Thüringen, that Salve.TV negotiations on the demonstration programs of the Russian channel from the channel waits for a response to these questions.
