Agriculture ministry: Ukraine can increase grain export to 36 mn tons

In the 2015-2016 marketing year, the agriculture ministry intends to sell 36 mn tons of grain from 34.6 mn last year, Ukraine minister of agrarian policy Olexy Pavlenko said, UKRINFORM reports Aug. 3.
The grain export can be raised due to lower domestic consumption and left-over reserves from last year.
This year’s grain crop is expected to be good.
