A huge explosion just rocked a major city in China (VIDEO)

A giant explosion rocked the Chinese city of Tianjin at 11:30 p.m. local time on Wednesday, People's Daily China reported, and hundreds of people are injured.

The state broadcaster CCTV reported that the blast — which created a huge mushroom cloud and triggered a quake that could be felt up to 6 miles away — happened at Tianjian Dongjiang Port Rui Hai International Logistics Co. Ltd., which handles the transport of hazardous goods.

A local hospital has so far received more 300 people injured in the blast, a CCTV America producer reported, and more are expected. CCTV said no deaths had been reported, adding that there had been two explosions within 30 seconds of each other and that about 100 fire trucks had been sent to the scene.
