The representative of the Assyrian community in Kamishli Ahikar Issa said that the mediators managed to reach the militants grouping "Islamic state" agreement for the release of 25 Christian Assyrians, reports Newsweek.
"Today we have released 25 of the Assyrians, from among those who had been kidnapped by terrorists IG on 23 February. Were released for ransom through intermediaries, "- he said.
