74% of French people do not want the current president of Socialist Francois Hollande and former Conservative President Nicolas Sarkozy put his candidacy for presidential elections in May 2017. Chapter Odoxa Gael Sliman, commenting on the survey, said that the former prime minister under Jacques Chirac Alain Juppe had not been in the government, "so the French do not consider him responsible for the negative results of the reign of the last presidents (Francois Hollande and Nicolas Sarkozy)."
88% of respondents believe that the political class in France is not sufficiently updated. 81% believe that it is necessary to forbid to hold the same elected office more than 10-15 years. 73% of respondents believe that it is necessary to oblige the parties to include in their lists some minimum number of members of the private sector. 70% in favor of the age limit for participation elections.
The survey involved 1042 people. It was conducted via the Internet 23 and 24 December.
