Farage coy on the future of Ukip (Financial Times)

Nigel Farage has cast further doubt on the future of the UK Independence party, saying that “parties are vehicles” and that he finds party politics “very boring”.
Some within Ukip claim that Mr Farage may seek to reshape the party after the June referendum on EU membership.
He has led Ukip for most of the past decade, building it into Britain’s third most popular party, behind the Conservatives and Labour. But he has fallen out with Ukip’s only MP, Douglas Carswell, and recently sacked the author of its general election manifesto, Suzanne Evans.
“I’m in politics for issues, not for parties,” Mr Farage said, in a lunchtime interview with the Financial Times. “That’s what wrong with British politics: our first-past-the-post system has made us think that parties matter more than issues.” Mr Farage added that he hadn’t “got a clue” what he would do after that vote....................
