The DPRK released a sentenced to life imprisonment for a pastor from Canada

DPRK authorities dismissed Pastor Lim Ham So of Canada sentenced in 2015 to life imprisonment for "subversion against the state."
It was reported by the Associated Press with reference to the North Korean agency.
Lim Han Song was released on "humanitarian grounds" by the decision of the DPRK Central Court - the highest judicial authority in the country.
No other details, including whether the Canadian has left North Korea, the agency did not report.
Lim Hong Song, who has been engaged in charitable activities since 1997, has visited North Korea more than a hundred times in total.
He was arrested in February 2015 with charges of subversion. Subsequently, DPRK television showed a video where Lim Hin Su claimed to be guilty. In January 2016, the North Korean court sentenced him to life imprisonment.
Earlier it was reported that Canada sent a delegation to North Korea to release its citizen.
