The European Union can not continue to rely on US support for its defense.

According to Censor.NET, with reference to Espresso , European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said this in an interview with the Austrian press.

Speaking about the state of affairs in the EU, Juncker noted that the views of Europeans on the block are improving, but the region can not appeal to the US to protect its future.

"It becomes clear that we can not rely on American support for defense in the long term," the head of the European Commission said.
