Czech president, Zeeman, supported Trump with the US embassy in Israel

President of the Czech Republic, Miloš Zeeman, commented on the decision of the US President, Donald Trump, to transfer the American Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

"Trump this decision fulfilled one of his pre-election promises. From this news I have great joy. After all, during my visit to Israel four years ago, I proposed to transfer the Czech embassy to Jerusalem. If that happened, we would be the first in this way. Well, now, sooner or later, probably, we will follow the United States, "said Zeeman.
On October 10, the President of the Czech Republic, Milos Seman, offered to pay Ukraine and recognize the Crimea Russian.
The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine indicated that Ziemann in the PACE expressed a personal point of view regarding the annexation of the Crimea and advised to apply for a commentary to the Office of the President of the Czech Republic.
In turn, the Czech Prime Minister Bogusław Sobotka stressed that Zeman's statement contradicts the Czech foreign policy.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine expressed its indignation over the statements of the Czech President.
And the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Czech Republic Yevhen Perebyinis noted that the embassy of Ukraine is apologized to the Czechs for the words of Zeman.
Earlier, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said that the issue of the status of Jerusalem should be resolved in the interests of the Palestinian and Israeli sides.
Recall that US President Donald Trump has announced the decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel , as well as the intention to relinquish the US Embassy in Israel to Jerusalem. The American Embassy is currently located in Tel Aviv.
