US President Donald Trump said the country could return to the Paris climate agreement, but under certain conditions.
Trump said this during a joint press conference with Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg, the BBC reported.
"The Paris climate agreement was very unfair to the United States. It was very difficult for us to do business. It took a lot of our most valuable assets. But we can probably return if the conditions are more just in relation to us, "said the American president.
After the new US president Donald Trump announced the withdrawal from the climate deal , other participants had to look for additional ways to combat global warming.
In particular, it is reported that the Bill Gates Foundation provides $ 315 million to help the poorest countries adapt agriculture to climate change. Summed up to more than $ 600 million summit sum.
The deal was signed in Paris on April 22, 2015 by dozens of states, which are the main polluters of the atmosphere with greenhouse gases. It came into force on November 4, 2016.
