The Federal Court of Appeal in Virginia has ruled that Donald Trump's decree to suspend the admission of migrants from several Muslim countries is unconstitutional.
This is reported by The Hill with reference to a court decision.
The court reviewed complaints against a decree signed by the American president, which was filed by a number of public and human rights organizations. In the text of the official court decision, the list of organizations and individuals who opposed the decree of Trump was about seven pages. Most judges came to the conclusion that Tramp's decision was "unconstitutional" and "hostile to Islam".
In December 2017, the Supreme Court in the United States supported the presidential decree .
On March 6, 2017, Trump signed a decree prohibiting entry to the United States to citizens of 6 countries. Iraq decided to exclude it from the list, as the authorities of this country are cooperating with the United States in the fight against the militants of the "Islamic State".
During his election campaign, Trump repeatedly announced plans to strengthen immigration policy in the United States.
In the summer of 2017, Donald Trump presented a bill that foresees a waiver of the Green Card Lottery.
